2008-2009 Registration Information

This Registration page contains a range of important information you will need to register with Ambrose University College and Ambrose Seminary in the 2008-2009 academic year.

Please read this page in its entirety.

To better serve you, there will be no ‘Registration Day'; instead, you are welcome and encouraged to register for classes and make payment arrangements anytime before the first day of classes. Make sure to register for classes early, as some classes have a limited maximum capacity.

In an effort to effectively distribute registration information, reduce paper waste, and better serve you, we are providing this information in electronic format. It is not necessary to print out the entire package, as most students need only print out and return the first section (Registration & Student Information Sheet). Hard copies of this form are also available from the Registrar's Office.

Classes begin on Monday, September 15, 2008.

All tuition and fees for the semester are due and payable in full before the first day of classes.

Registration for courses by telephone or email cannot be accepted.

1. Registration & Student Information Sheet

Please use the registration form to indicate the courses you intend to take. Be sure to complete all parts of this form, including the correct numbers and full titles of your course selection (as listed on the class schedule) to assist us in registering you correctly. Incomplete forms cannot be processed.

Every year, the school collects some basic biographical details from you for accurate record keeping, reporting to accrediting institutions, and to contact you as needed. Please provide your most up to date information, including an emergency contact (name & phone number).

Registration cannot be completed without having both forms fully completed.

2. Fall and Winter semester Class Schedules

Please be advised that the schedules are comprised of both graduate and undergraduate classes. 100-400 level courses are undergraduate courses, and 500-700 level courses are graduate courses.

Course descriptions, including pre-requisites, are listed in the Academic Calendars, which are available online. When planning your academic year please consult class schedules and the Academic Calendars since registration forms cannot be processed where pre-requisites for courses are missing or where a scheduling conflict occurs.

As a student you are responsible for fulfilling the requirements of your degree program.

6. Calendar of Events

(Please see pg. 4 of the Academic Calendar at www.ambrose.edu/publications/academiccalendar)

All important dates are listed here, including registration, scholarship and graduation application deadlines, as well as Final Examination period. Familiarity with all listed dates is essential.
