Ambrose Research Conference
Each year Ambrose University hosts the Ambrose Research Conference – a gathering that aims to spotlight student, faculty, staff, and alumni research and scholarly activity, through a series of conference presentations and poster exhibits. This event is free to attend and open to the general public.
Upcoming Ambrose Research Conference – April 4, 2018 at 9:00am-4:30pm
This year’s theme is The World after Tomorrow. What might the world look like in fifty years and beyond? What questions do we need to ask, preparations should we make, and solutions ought we to pursue for such a world? What do various academic disciplines offer in reflection on these questions, and how might they point to a hopeful future?
Present Your Research at ARC 2018
Conference papers and poster exhibits are welcome from every discipline represented at Ambrose. We especially invite sessions and presentations that align with this year’s theme. Students, alumni, staff, and faculty interested in presenting are invited to submit a 100-150 word proposal/abstract for either a conference paper/presentation or poster exhibit, including the name of the presenter(s), the title of the paper or poster, and a description of the research or scholarly activity (e.g. topic, thesis, methodology, and conclusion).
To be considered for presenting at ARC 2018, presenters should submit individual proposals/abstracts online no later than Tuesday, February 20, 2018.
