Kodiaks Dominant in Three Set Victory Over Lions

The #1 ranked Lethbridge Kodiaks cruised to a quick victory in the Lions Den on Saturday night, defeating Ambrose in just under an hour of play. Rookie middle Quinn Buchanan (5 kills, 4 digs, 1 block) picked up Player of the Game for the Kodiaks, and libero Peter Hernandez (5 digs) was Player of the Game for the Lions.

Lions Rebound with Straight-Sets Win Over Kodiaks

One night after a stunning 4-set defeat to the 6th place Kodiaks, the Lions bounced back and won Saturday night’s game in a dominant three sets. Player of the Game for Ambrose was 4th year leftside Julia Kemper (8 kills, 5 aces, 15 digs), while the Kodiaks POG was 2nd year setter Jamie Brown (14 assists, 19 digs, 2 blocks).

Lions Extend Win Streak to Four Against Broncos

Having won five of their last six games, the Lions move to 13-7 after two 3-1 victories over the Olds Broncos this weekend. Saturday night’s game in the Lion’s Den was led by the efforts of first-year outside Vanessa Boone (Player of the Game with 13 kills, 3 aces, and 1 block) and Bronco’s leftside Megan Gleddie (8 kills, 5 digs, and 1 ace).
