You Can Directly Help Ukrainian Students Continue Their Studies…

Last year, Ambrose welcomed three students into the community as they fled Ukraine, enabling them to continue their pursuit of a post-secondary education. Ambrose committed to covering their tuition and on-campus residence fees for their first year of studies. As these students completed their first year, Ambrose renewed the commitment to continue supporting these students, allowing them to continue their studies in Canada.

You have the opportunity to partner in this commitment. We are asking alumni and donors to help us fund their tuition - at the domestic rate. Ambrose values these members of our community and the role that we can play in continuing to support their academic, emotional and spiritual needs.

Here Is A Portion Of An Email We Received From One Of These Students:

I entered Kyiv Polytechnics to study languages. I attended every class from the beginning, and I was consuming new information with a great pleasure….

“However, due to certain changes of the political situation in Ukraine, I lived in fear of a sudden war at the start of the second semester. And my fears, sadly, were not pointless. When Russians invaded my country, my life turned upside down. I have lost my home. My education was cut short, and we had to move to the western regions so we could stay safe….

“At any rate, I was not going to stop moving on. I decided to work as a humanitarian aid volunteer at the local truck hub. I have met lots of new people with their own stories and they gave me even more motivation to live on. Since then, I rebuilt my mind and gained even more inspiration to keep studying.

“That is why I’m emailing you….”

Will you please consider a gift to help provide a safe and secure learning environment for these displaced students? All gifts will be used solely for the support of Ukrainian students.
