Celebrating 10 Years, Right at Home

Alumni celebrating at the Right at Home Celebration

On May 4, we celebrated the tenth anniversary of our campus. We were glad to be joined by over 200 members of the greater Ambrose community including alumni, current students, faculty and staff. We were delighted to see so many familiar faces return to campus for this celebration and hear their stories from their time at Ambrose.

Over the past 10 years we have seen so much growth here at Ambrose and it’s inspiring to know how many members of the greater Ambrose community are still engaged and supporting us as we continue to grow as an institution.

As it snowed outside, we enjoyed a great time of community over lunch, heard about the road to Ambrose from our President Gordon T. Smith and from Helen Thiessen, Executive Director, Enrolment Management and were also treated to a concert by alumnus Keith Kitchen.

Since moving into this building, Ambrose has; introduced new programs such as the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Biology and Bachelor of Business Administration; joined a new athletics conference (ACAC); welcomed new students, faculty and staff; and have seen our alumni go on to do great things in the community. We have so much to be proud of and we are so glad we could celebrate Ambrose’s past, present and future together. It was a great opportunity for those present to show their continued support of Ambrose by contributing to our Scholarship programs, which gives away in excess of $445,000 annually. I would encourage you to join with me in helping support Ambrose University in their desire to provide financial assistance to their students.
