Drum Set Camp
For musicians 13 years of age and up

Under the direction of Tyler Hornby, the Drum Set Educational Camp is the pinnacle drum event every year in Calgary, providing amazing drum instruction from world class drummers who are experts in their field. This unique experience gives students young and old a chance to enhance their abilities on the drum set. This camp provides an intensive yet fun atmosphere in a master class setting, allowing participants to go at their own pace. Topics which will be covered range:
- big band chart reading
- jazz combo drumming
- funk drumming
- stick and pedal techniques
- Cuban & Brazilian rhythms on the drum set
- improvisation
- jazz drum set history lectures
- transcription analysis
No auditions are required, however, applicants must be 13+ years and should have some experience.

Cost: $300 until Friday June 28 and $375 after June 28
