Join Us for an Evening With Belden Lane

Belden Lane’s forthcoming book, The Great Conversation: Nature and the Care of the Soul, reminds us that the family of God includes the whole of creation. The natural world isn’t just a collection of objects; it’s a communion of subjects, says Thomas Berry. How then can we honor the earth’s witness to God’s wisdom and glory—learning to read from God’s green scripture and to live in harmony with the larger Beloved Community of which we’re a part?

When: Tuesday, October 2, 2018, 7:30pm - 9pm
Where: Ambrose University Gymnasium

Belden Lane is a Presbyterian minister and Professor Emeritus of Theological Studies at Saint Louis University. His books include Backpacking with the Saints: Wilderness Hiking as Spiritual Practice, and The Solace of Fierce Landscapes: Exploring Desert and Mountain Spirituality.
