Ambrose modulars are graduate level courses, open to those with a degree as professional development or as a way to take the first step toward a Seminary degree.

Join us during November Reading Week for one of these Fall Modulars:

Exploring the Dream Experience (CS 660-1)

Survey the significance and understanding of the dream experience in both eastern and western Christian traditions. Learn about the role of the dream in the spiritual journeys of prominent Christians, the dream and the death experience, and develop a Christian approach to dream interpretation.

Faith Seeking to Understand Violence Against Women (MI 645-1)

Study theoretical explanations of violence against women in Majority World and Western societies and how Christianity has been used as both a weapon and instrument of grace in responding to violence against women.

Christianity and Culture (TH 711)

Examine different attitudes toward culture adopted by the Church throughout history and practical questions such as the relationship between the sacred and the secular, the role of art, the place of work and leisure, and the significance of political engagement receive particular attention.
