Sessional faculty position in Social Sciences

Ambrose University invites applications for the following sessional faculty position in the Social Sciences (Psychology and Sociology) for Winter 2023.

COURSE

Available courses for sessional instructors include:

  • PS 415 – Tests and Measurements (Winter 2023)

Course description:

  • The purpose of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills needed to understand, select, score, and interpret individual and group administered psychological and educational tests.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation, teaching, and grading of the undergraduate-level course.
Qualifications

candidates will be committed to high quality teaching and be student centered. We seek candidates whose teaching interests complement and strengthen the Social Sciences department at Ambrose University. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience, and abilities to integrate Christian perspectives into teaching and learning.

Additional Information
  • Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
  • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory criminal background check and academic transcripts.
