Fall 2017 New Student Orientation

Orientation programming is a key component to your experience at Ambrose. It is your chance to meet Student Leaders, Faculty and other new students, hear about the services and resources at Ambrose, and prepare yourself for the upcoming Academic year. There are a few different program-specific Orientation programs that happen in September and January – take a look below to find out when you should plan to be on campus!

Students are welcome to arrive on campus prior to the 11am start time to buy text books, obtain Student ID card, pay fees or any outstanding administrative items to complete.

11:15am: Orientation Session #1 – Introduction to Ambrose Services
12:15pm: Lunch provided by Ambrose
1:00pm: Orientation Session #2 – Student Success
2:15pm: Coffee Break
2:30pm: Orientation Session #3 – Welcome from the Dean of Theology
3:00pm: Campus Tour
3:30pm: Faculty Meet & Greet
4:30pm – 9:00pm: BBQ at Bowness Park for new and returning Seminary students & families and Seminary Faculty

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION

Tuesday September 5th, 2017

Students will have the opportunity to meet a variety of Ambrose personnel including those representing Education Faculty, Campus Services, Student Development and Enrolment. They will also be introduced to the Education Students Association and other important program-related information. Students are expected to attend the full day’s events.

Morning: Programming begins at 9:00am in room RE 132, in the Res Ed building

Afternoon: Orientation for FE 100 – Field Education
