Orientation is a key component to your experience at Ambrose. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to dive into the community along with other new students who are just as nervous and excited as you are. During the few days of orientation you will get to meet some Student Leaders, Faculty and hear about the services and resource at Ambrose as well as prepare yourself for the upcoming Academic year. Did we happen to mention that it is also going to be a BLAST!!! That’s right, these few days are crucial to your understanding of the school and the community but here at Ambrose we make it an enjoyable and exciting experience to get you in the right spirits for the school year!
Seminary orientation gives new seminary students the opportunity to meet fellow classmates, learn more about seminary-specific supports available, and gather in community at the end of the day with a picnic and community time in Bowness Park. Topics and activities throughout the day include: lunch with faculty advisors, presentations from Ambrose’s president Dr. Gordon. T. Smith, library, IT, student life, student council, and spiritual life. Please click below for more information and to register.
Parents, we’ve set aside an hour on Sunday, September 1, for you to gather with other parents, hear from our President, Dr. Gordon T. Smith, and learn more about supports available both to your students and you as parents. With presentations from our admissions department, financial aid, student life, and parent engagement, you won’t want to miss this opportunity!
Education Orientation is mandatory for all first year education students. Orientation will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3. For more information please e-mail Debra Huff: email@example.com.
