What Do We Do?
Ambrose's Academic Support office provides services that are
available to all students, regardless of discipline or level, and
free to all current Ambrose students!
These services complement in-class instruction, and staff work closely with faculty and other support services staff to provide support tailored to the needs of Ambrose students. Both services also provide support to students with special learning needs or disabilities. However, these students should also register with Accessibility services for additional support.
The Ambrose Writing Centre provides academic support in the four foundational literacy skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—to students enrolled at Ambrose University. It also assists students with the research process and strives to stimulate good critical thinking.
Ambrose’s tutoring services provide support in subject-specific knowledge, especially in high-demand areas such as chemistry, philosophy, math and statistics, economics, and religious studies.
