Residence Life

Residence Health & Safety Policy

Your Home Away From Home

The Residence program is set up to support you during your studies at Ambrose.  Each Pod has a Resident Assistant who gives leadership to the floor and encourages a living-learning environment in which the greatest academic, social, and spiritual development may be realized by each student.

Community: Residence is a place where memories are made and life-long friendships develop as you live, study and hang out with others. Sharing life together is fun and fulfilling, and helps you grow academically, socially and spiritually. From floor socials to late night conversations with roommates, to small groups, residence is an experience not to be missed

Convenience: Enjoy living minutes away from your classes with campus fitness facilities, squash courts and library services all readily available. Not having a long rush-hour commute means you have extra time to sleep in after studying late the night before. Ambrose residences are a 5 minute walk from the nearby LRT stations, giving you easy access to all that Calgary has to offer in leisure, entertainment and shopping. Secure card building access and 24 hour on-site staff are in place for your peace of mind. Security cameras and after hours security personnel provide an additional measure of protection for you as a residence student.

Comfort: Your room is furnished with all you need to study and live. All rooms are open onto a shared living room space that includes soft seating and a small kitchenetter area. Common areas provide all the amenities of home - laundry, media room with big screen TV, games room/lounge area and community kitchen for special event use. A prayer room provides a place to retreat from the busyness of life.
