Major

A “major” refers to a 4–year BA. Students normally select their major when they apply to Ambrose. Acceptance

Full Acceptance

Upon receipt of all application information, the documents will be reviewed and Full Acceptance will be offered to eligible students. A letter of acceptance will be sent. All application documents, including official transcripts, must be submitted prior to enrolment. Enrolment may not be permitted if the application file is incomplete. Ambrose reserves the right to deny admission if it judges the overall academic record unacceptable, notwithstanding admissions standards.

Conditional Acceptance

Applicants to Ambrose who apply before they have graduated from high school are encouraged to send along an unofficial transcript of their first semester marks from their final year in high school. Conditional Acceptance may be offered upon receipt of the unofficial transcript, a completed Application for Admission, payment of the application fee, and any supporting documents received to date. Full Acceptance will be contingent, however, upon receipt of all remaining supporting documents, including official transcripts showing that entrance requirements have been met (or indication that the applicant is 21 years of age or older).

Deferral of Acceptance

Upon acceptance into a program, students are permitted to postpone beginning their studies for up to one year. After a deferral of one year, students must reapply should they wish to study at Ambrose.
