Ambrose Graduation – Entering a New Era

Every year, post-secondaries across the country come together to celebrate their graduating classes. Previously, Ambrose hosted three distinct graduation ceremonies across multiple days to celebrate the graduates across the Undergraduate, Seminary, and Education programs.
This year, graduation will look a little different at Ambrose. Instead of three ceremonies, there will be one unified ceremony to celebrate all graduates. Additionally, the event will be moved off-campus, being hosted at First Alliance Church, Deerfoot Campus. These changes have been made with the goal of providing the best possible experience for graduands, their families and guests.
The shift to a single ceremony allows for the rare opportunity for the entire Ambrose community to come together in one place to celebrate. For many, this is a meaningful chance to recognize not only their own achievements but the collective journey of all graduates.
Partnering with First Alliance Church further strengthens the long-standing connection between Ambrose and our local partner. First Alliance has a history of hosting graduations, and their infrastructure – including comfortable seating and advanced production equipment – ensures a seamless and elevated experience for all attendees. Moving away from the gymnasium eliminates logistical challenges (goodbye bleacher noise!) while creating an atmosphere designed specifically for such a special occasion.
These exciting updates bring changes, but the heart of graduation remains unchanged. The ceremony will still feature all those elements that make the day meaningful, including time to celebrate, take photos, and reflect on the incredible accomplishments of our graduates.
Graduation is a time to honour the incredible achievements of our students and the impact they have had on our community. This year’s event will mark a new chapter in Ambrose graduation traditions.
