Registration for New or Returning Students
Follow the steps below or watch the video to register for courses whether you are a new student or returning to continue your studies at Ambrose.

Register for Credit as a Visiting or Open Studies Student | Add/Drop Deadlines and Policies
1. Pay the Tuition Deposit
A $250 non-refundable tuition deposit is required before you can register for courses. This amount goes towards your total tuition and fees--it’s not an additional fee. Once you’ve paid this, it’s not required again for the rest of the academic year. Here you will find a list of methods to pay your deposit. Please be advised that if you decide to withdraw for the year, you will forfeit this deposit.
2. Enter the Student Portal
- Go to https://my.ambrose.edu
- Select Student Registration System from the menu on the right-hand side.
- Enter your username and password. If you don’t have, or don’t remember, your username or password, contact the IT department at helpdesk@ambrose.edu
- Please note: If your tuition deposit hasn’t been paid in full, you’ll receive a “HOLD” status message when you try to register.
3. Register for Courses
We are currently working through the final stages of a transition to a new student information system, institution-wide. These last steps necessitate a disruption to our regular registration services—we hope to regain access by May 8th, 2023. During this time, as of April 27th, 2023, students will not be able to register online, though they can still access the portal to view course offerings, schedules, balances, etc.
Please email any requests relating to registration to registrar@ambrose.edu. All requests will be processed, in the order they are received, after May 8th. You will receive an email confirmation once your request has been fulfilled. Waitlists will continue to function as usual. Spring 2023 semester requests will be addressed during this blackout period, and Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 requests will be addressed after the blackout period.
Other student records requests, such as Course Substitutions, Program Changes, Student Information Changes, Directed/Independent Studies and Confirmation of Enrolment Letters will be processed after May 8th. Transcripts will be processed throughout this time with no interruption, along with the posting of all final grades from the Winter 2024 semester.
We request that you do not send us the same request multiple times during this period. Please accept this automatic response as confirmation that your request has been received and will be processed in order of receipt.
