Ambrose Music Ensembles
Ambrose University Singers
The Ambrose University Singers is a mixed ensemble drawn from the Ambrose campus community which meets for rehearsal on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. This is a college course that offers you 1.5 credits for the class. Participants may also opt to join the choir on a non-credit basis. The University Singers normally perform six concerts either on campus or in the Calgary area. There is no formal audition, but it is expected that when a student enters the choir, you will give evidence that you can match pitch (sing in tune and learn a part) and are committed to the rehearsal and performance schedule of the choir. The choir is directed by Mark Bartel, Associate Professor of Music.
