Ambrose University and the Church of the Nazarene Canada are thrilled to announce a multi-year agreement that will strengthen and expand their longstanding partnership.
As the official educational institution of the Church of the Nazarene Canada, Ambrose University will receive increased funding and support to further its vision, mission, and programs. As part of this agreement, Ambrose will also host and facilitate the newly developed Modular Course of Study for the Church of the Nazarene Canada, tailored specifically for the Canadian context. This non-degree program serves as a key pathway for Nazarene clergy preparation, seamlessly integrating with Ambrose’s existing ministry degrees.
“It has been a joy and privilege to collaborate with Rev. Mark Collins and the District Superintendents across Canada in resourcing the Church of the Nazarene—particularly in clergy recruitment and development,” said Rev. Dr. Bryce Ashlin-Mayo, President of Ambrose University.
Rev. Mark Collins, National Director of the Church of the Nazarene Canada, echoed this sentiment: “Working with Dr. Bryce Ashlin-Mayo over the past few months has been both exciting and inspiring. There is a deep sense of unity and anticipation within the Church of the Nazarene Canada as we strengthen our ties with Ambrose University. I have greatly appreciated Dr. Ashlin-Mayo’s wisdom, kindness, and godly spirit, and I look forward to continuing this journey toward even greater collaboration and shared mission.”
This agreement marks a significant step forward in the ongoing partnership between Ambrose University and the Church of the Nazarene Canada, ensuring a stronger future for ministry training and leadership development.
