Grab-the-Box Event 2.0
Ambrose Get Set for Valentine's Day!
On Thursday February 1, a BIG box truck with hundreds of boxes of mystery items will come to campus. For $5 you can enter the gym and participate in this event - amount of items/person to be announced on the day (we hope that everyone can take between 2-3 items, but it will be based on how many boxes are received). The truck is full of mystery items and some may be large - you can enter your name in a draw to win one of the large items or a mystery box!
The only rule is NONE of the items can be re-sold.
The event will run from 10-11am and 12:30-2pm (or until we run out of boxes).
Register for a time to enter to grab the boxes, arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in with your Ambrose ID card, bring a bag to carry your items, and HAVE FUN (that’s what this is all about)!
The $ collected will go to the admin cost for the City Serve Calgary truck and all other funds will go towards purchasing fitness equipment for the Ambrose Fitness Centre.
The items for this event are provided by City Serve Calgary a ministry of Calgary Life Church and the people-power is provided by Student Life volunteers and the Men's & Women's Lions Basketball teams.

Only 1 entry per person (register below for a morning slot OR at the door for the 1-2pm drop-in)

Cost is $5, payable at the door by cash or tap

Ambrose community members only - you must check in and show your Ambrose ID card at the door. If you are not able to attend, you will not be able to send someone in your place.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your time slot, it will be given to someone else - we want to make sure that all of the spots are able to be filled.

All items are "as is" and CANNOT be re-sold.

After 2pm, if there are any items remaining, anyone can return for a quick run through.
