How do you see the gospel in the redemption story of Black people?

Black people have been freed from slavery by God’s grace after many years of persevering. This is similar to the way God brought his children out of the captivity of sin into freedom in Christ. The difference here is that Jesus gave us a combo deal and delivered us from mental, physical, and spiritual bondage with the work he did on the cross. His blood is enough to pay for past, present, and future sins and allows us to thrive in the life of freedom he calls us to live.
