Meet Ambrose Student Nya Wieka

As a Black female, what do you want the world to know about you?

As a black female I want the world to know of the deep rooted lineage and culture I come from. I am from South Sudan and come from a culture filled with strength and perseverance. All the women that have come before me have lived through tremendous amounts of suffering, trials and tribulations. I believe that the attributes I possess to help me overcome the challenges life throws at me are an accumulation of the strengths of those who have come before me and through the guidance of God in my everyday life. As a black female I am intelligent, compassionate, loving, humble, and won't let anyone besides myself control my destiny.
