A survey of the origins of The Christian and Missionary Alliance in its social, cultural, and theological contexts. The course also examines and evaluates various continuities and changes in C&MA thought and practice. This course is also offered online as CH 610 in the winter semesters only, OLCH 610-CL Alliance History and Thought (offered in Chinese language) and at various District locations during the academic year. Prerequisite: CH 501 or TH 501 however if this course is taken for licensing purposes only, within the various Districts, the prerequisite is waived. 

Note: This course is crosslisted as TH 640 and crossleveled as HI 362 and REL 362.
