Speaker Bio: Joel is a sociologist of religion who specializes in congregations, religious nones, millennials, and religion in Canada. He is also the Director of the Flourishing Congregations Institute. Since joining the Ambrose faculty in 2008, he has (co)authored six books and countless articles, plus he is regularly invited to share his research inside and outside the academy.
