Graduation Application

Congratulations on taking this first big step towards completing your time at Ambrose!

All students enroled in their final course, semester or year of study and are planning to successfully complete their degree requirements must submit a Graduation Application form to the Office of the Registrar no later than November 15th.

Completion of an Application to Graduate does not guarantee the awarding of a degree / diploma / certificate but rather indicates to the university you expect to complete your program prior to graduation deadlines.

All applications are subject to academic review by the appropriate faculty or school, the Office of the Registrar and approval by the General Faculties Council.

The application form is a means of reviewing your academic record to determine your eligibility to graduate.

Please note:

  1. Graduation fee: $125 – this applies to all those who want to graduate, including those who do not plan to attend the ceremony. Fee is non-refundable.
  2. Late fee: There is an additional $100 late fee for all applications received after the application deadline. The late application deadline is January 30. 
  3. Completion of degree requirements: Students are responsible for the completion of all graduation requirements, as listed in the Academic Calendar.
  4. Former students: Former students cannot apply to graduate with a degree which is no longer offered. Students must be admitted into and graduate from a current Ambrose University program.
  5. Account deadline: All outstanding accounts must be cleared two full weeks prior to the convocation ceremony in order to be permitted to graduate. Student with a Financial Hold are eligible to apply.

Are you currently on a Letter of Permission taking a class at another institution?
Note: This is not the appropriate forum to let us know if you wish to do this. Please only check yes if you have already been approved for a Letter of Permission and are currently taking/signed up to take a class. For those with approved Letter of Permissions, please remember your transcript from the visiting institution must come in to us by March 31st, 2022 in order for those credits to be applied to your degree. Please see the academic calendar for parameters around a Letter of Permission and the complications involved when attempting one in your final year.
