Beyond the Classroom

In your second year, you’ll start a practicum of 5 ‐ 6 hours per week in a church or organization. Later on in your degree, you’ll apply for onSite, Ambrose’s award‐winning international internship program. Through onSite, you can complete 7 – 10 months of ministry and study while immersed in a different cultural context elsewhere in the world. During this hands‐on experience, you’ll meet with a mentor and gain insight into the world of intercultural ministry. As you reflect on your work in the field, you’ll deepen your classroom learning and improve your ministry practice.
