Presidential Scholarship

A significant scholarship investment in an exceptional student who has strong Christian character as well as academic excellence and servant leadership potential.

This scholarship is offered to a current high school student or last year’s graduate whose Ambrose education will enable them to be servant leaders involved in transforming their workplace, church or community for the glory of God. Application package opens December 15th and closes January 31st.

Requirements: application, résumé with cover letter focused on leadership skills, 2 references

Scholarship Criteria for the Presidential Scholarship

• Must make satisfactory academic progress and maintain a 3.0 CGPA
• Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours each semester
• Must be in good standing within the Ambrose community related to responsibilities of membership
• The program applies to a maximum of 8 consecutive semesters or the entirety of an undergraduate degree
• Must be North American

How do I know I am eligible?

• You are a current student or a recent graduate
• You have +85% in your schooling (or very close to 85%)
• You have proven leadership skills (working on teams, being part of the community, volunteering in a church, etc.)

What do I need as part of the application package?

• You need to apply to Ambrose
• You need to apply for the award
• You will need a: transcript, resume and cover letter, 2 references

What components should be evident in my cover letter?

• Your servant leadership
• Your strong Christian character
