Rev. John (Johannes) Moerman Memorial Scholarship

This award was created to financially assist those who have the Call of God on their life to serve the local church in full-time ministry as a Pastor. This award is renewable for the duration of the student's degree, receiving an award of $10,000 annually.

Requirements:

• Application to Ambrose University
• Letter of Reference from the Applicant's Church Pastor

Student Eligibility:

Students must be enrolled in one of these programs:

1. School of Ministry:

• Church & Family Ministry
• Church Ministry
• Youth Ministry
• Intercultural Ministry

2. Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies leading to a Master of Divinity (5 years)

3. Ambrose Seminary:

• Master of Divinity
• Master of Intercultural Ministries
• Master of Leadership and Ministry

Student must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, have a valid Student Visa or Study Permit, or be a Protected Person of Canada

Scholarship Criteria:

• Enrolled full-time in one of the identified programs with a desire to pursue full-time Pastoral Ministry in the local church
• Maintain a CGPA of 3.2

Students who receive the Rev. John (Johannes) Moerman Memorial Scholarship will not be eligible for the Church Servant Leadership or Presidential Scholarship.
