School of Business Launch Ceremony

The School of Business had its launch party on November 17. Alumni, students, faculty, and board members all attended to show support for this monumental occasion.

Dr. Murray MacTavish, Dean of the School of Business, opened with a land acknowledgement and some words on the long journey the program has been on. President, Dr. Gordon T. Smith, spoke on the journey of the program with a special acknowledgement of the work Dr. MacTavish has done. Both former and current students spoke, highlighting their experiences at Ambrose and how it has shaped their futures in business. There was a common theme between the students of the consistent encouragement from their Ambrose professors.  Board member, Dale Meister, concluded the ceremony with a congratulatory message to both Dr. MacTavish and Dr. Smith noting their hard work and dedication to the School of Business. 

Following the ceremony, a luncheon posed as a fun networking opportunity for students, faculty and board members. Guests were encouraged to give a word of advice for current business students as they complete their educations and discover their paths. The School of Business had its launch party on November 17.
