National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Ambrose University respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 7 territory - the travelling route, gathering place and meeting grounds for indigenous Peoples, including the Siksikaitsitapi, comprised of the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Piikani First Nations; the Tsuut'ina First Nation; and the Îyârhe Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations, Métis Otipemisiwak and Esikisimu Nunangat, whose histories, languages, cultures and traditions continue to influence our vibrant community.
The Ambrose Community is encouraged to engage in on campus activities surrounding this date and city-wide activities on the day of September 30. Ambrose will promote both on and off-campus activities.

Monday September 23 - Treaty and Covenant Lunch and Learn
Join Indigenous Minister Rev. Tony Snow from the Stoney Nakoda First Nation in commemorating our treaty history and learning about Treaty 7.

Film: Songs My Brothers Taught Me (Chloe Zhao)

Where: Commuter Lounge
There will be authentic Indigenous food to enjoy while watching the movie.
