Using the JFA Portal and Accepting Awards

 

For New Students with issued school credentials/Continuing Students

Students simply need to be logged into their Student Email on their web browser and by clicking the JFA Portal log in link, you will be prompted to select your account (as seen below) and you are logged into the JFA portal!

Accepting Awards

Things to Note:

  1. Your COA – Cost of Attendance – will be added in the summer for continuing students.
  2. Check for potential touchpoints – most likely archived if completed.
  3. Confirm contact information and program are correct.

    Use contact Financial Aid Office button or email me all discrepancies: financialaid@ambrose.edu

  4. All student awards require Social Insurance Numbers before distribution is possible. Fill out this form Social Insurance Number | Ambrose University and your SIN will be added to your student information. You can also email or call the Financial Aid Office or Daniel Yu of Student Accounts and Finance.
     

    You can accept awards even if you have any missing documents but you will not be able to have the award distributed in September unless the missing documents are uploaded before then.

  5. To accept awards for the upcoming year, ensure that you are in the correct award year. Then click the award in orange to accept. The awards are credited to your student account mid-September, just before the course add/drop date.
  6. Once you have accepted your award, please remember to Thank your Donor.

For New Students without issued school credentials

The Prospect Portal allows new students who have not been issued school credentials yet to access the JFA Student Portal by creating their own password that is connected to their personal email account.

If you are a New Student without issued school credentials, simply enter your personal email in the first field and your Student ID (if you are unsure of what it is, email your Advisor and they can help!) in the second field.
