A New Day for Ministry Training

Ambrose University relaunches the Certificate in Christian Discipleship and the Diploma in Christian Ministry.
Ambrose University’s School of Ministry is launching revitalized online training programs under the leadership of Dr. Rob Snow, Dean of Theology. Designed for young leaders aged 18–25, the Certificate in Christian Discipleship and the Diploma in Christian Ministry equip students from anywhere in Canada to grow in their calling while actively serving in ministry.
With support from The Alliance Canada and the Church of the Nazarene Canada, Ambrose University brings theological training to where you already serve—whether in a church, camp, or ministry setting.
This Fall study WHILE doing ministry!
The new programming will connect students to instructors and classmates in a fully online synchronous classroom. Instructor-led courses will help students to engage in real-time discussions that will build community through live interaction without having to sacrifice ministry work or managing any relocation costs.
This redesigned program develops students holistically in three key areas:
- Bible & Theology – Strengthen your understanding of Scripture and faith.
- Spiritual Formation – Deepen personal and communal spiritual practices.
- Christian Ministry – Gain hands-on leadership experience in ministry.
By studying while serving, students immediately apply their learning to real ministry situations, building confidence and leadership skills in the process.
At Ambrose University, we are committed to shaping servant leaders who will honour Christ in their vocations. We prepare students to pursue redemptive engagement in the church, society, and the created order, and we foster a commitment to active and engaged citizenship both locally and globally.
This programming provides the opportunity for students to answer God’s call and develop the heart, mind, and hands for ministry—all while remaining in ministry contexts.
Be equipped. Be transformed. Be ready.
