Sometimes life issues come up and you do not have the time to wait for an appointment to see a counsellor. If this happens, Ambrose has staff on site that will help to walk with you through a crisis situation and help determine the next steps to take.

If you or a friend at Ambrose has experienced any form of sexual assault and would like help, please reach out to an Ambrose Community Advocate.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

If you are struggling with suicidal thoughts, contemplating suicide, or just need a safe source to talk to, Ambrose has multiple personnel trained in ASIST. ASIST is an intensive, interactive, and practice-dominated course designed to help caregivers recognize and review risks, and intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

Mental Health First Aid is offered to someone with an emerging mental health problem or in a mental health crisis until appropriate treatment is found or the situation is resolved.
