Position Summary
Community Group leaders help to foster Christian community and discipleship on campus. This includes leading a weekly Community Group on campus, as well as helping to facilitate opportunities for community with other students who desire to grow spiritually. These opportunities include Deeper Faith discussion nights as well as service projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be available for listening and prayer with your group
- Facilitate weekly Community Groups
- Attend biweekly Community Group Leader Meetings
- Organize a service project for your group each semester
- Help lead Deeper Faith discussion nights twice a semester with your floor/group
- Meet once a semester one-on-one with the Spiritual Life and Events Coordinator
- Attend Tuesday and Thursday chapels and Spiritual Life events*
- Attend CGL training in September and Student Leader Training in January
*Spiritual Life events include Deeper Life Day and Ambrose Day of Prayer
Duties and responsibilities performed within one's capabilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing.
