As soon as the temperatures begin to dip and the leaves start to crunch beneath our feet, a familiar sight emerges in neighbourhoods across the country--ladders appearing on front lawns, ready for the task of hanging Christmas lights. A beloved tradition of the Christmas season, that reminds us of the holidays just around the corner.

On our campus, students and staff gather to decorate Christmas trees. Snowball fights erupt in Mahood Commons. December also hosts our Annual Christmas Concert, Advent Chapels and a campus carol sing and there are, of course, student and staff Christmas parties. These cherished traditions, woven into the fabric of our community, continue to thrive, reminding us that the warmth of the past is very much alive in the ethos of Ambrose today.

In my first 207 days in office, I have endeavoured to establish traditions that foster my deep commitment to a Christ-centered culture on our campus. 

In August we welcomed Rev. Chris King as our new Campus Pastor. Pastor Chris has a heart for creating community destinations where students can find and follow Jesus. Our Spiritual Life division has already made a significant impact on our students. 

• Chapel attendance is increasing weekly
• Deeper Life Day (formerly Spiritual Emphasis days) was a great success
• Bible studies and student lead life groups are popping up on campus
• Students are experiencing life transformation in Jesus.

As we move forward, we are committed to making Ambrose a place where students can experience vibrant spiritual growth as they discover and pursue God's calling on their lives. Your generosity helps shape a vibrant community that enhances our worship gatherings and enables spiritual life programming.
