Program Overview

Act on your passion for performing arts!

Your career as a professional actor, director, playwright or theatre major gets off to a great start in this two-year intensive program. Experiential learning grounds you in the art and industry of theatre and gives you a solid foundation the most essential element of theatre: acting. Through every class and experience, you learn how to be a storyteller who tells the truth with artistry, while becoming a confident and versatile performer.

Collaborate, produce and complete internships within the Calgary theatre community. 

So here's the deal:

You'll study with your cohort for two years to complete your Diploma in Acting.

Take 20 credits per semester [that's 40 a year] for a total of 80 credits.

Classes are being offered in September for either credit or audit.

Beyond the Classroom

The acting program is based on a mentorship and discipleship model to connect you with instructors who are actively involved in the Calgary theatre community. Through an internship in the industry, you’ll also get an inside look at the world of professional theatre and make valuable connections.  Discover where your strengths lie and build solid connections in the local theatre community through collaboration, production and internships.
