Do you remember the first day at your first job? As I began my career as a delivery boy for the Edmonton Journal in the late 1980’s, I knew that I needed proper footwear and an alarm clock that worked! That job was the start of my professional foundation for where I am today, in the early days of my new role as the president of Ambrose University - where I will need a completely different set of skills.

One of my early priorities is to strengthen and build upon the foundation of Ambrose as a leading evangelical Christian university. In all aspects of university life - whether playing on our competitive sports teams, engaging in co-curricular activities, learning in the classroom, worshiping in chapel, living in residence, or connecting in the commuter lounge - I want every student to learn and grow in Christ-centred community at Ambrose. 

But to do this, I need your help. This summer, your donation will directly support the continued building of  Ambrose as a Christ-centered university. These funds will help our campus pastor build a team to deepen our students’ engagement as they grow and continue on their spiritual journey. Your gift will also allow us to create visual reminders of our commitment to being a Christ-centered university that will be installed throughout the campus.

Please note that we have updated our online donation system and now issue official tax receipts at the time of the donation through a link in the confirmation email. We will be issuing hard copy tax receipts by the end of February the following calendar year if we do not have an email address to send the receipt to.

Payments directed toward specific student accounts are not eligible for a donation receipt. However, payments designated as financial aid gifts will be distributed to Ambrose students with financial need.

You may revoke your authorization at any time, by providing 15 days notice. To cancel this agreement please contact Ambrose University. You may have certain recourse rights if any debit does not comply with this agreement. To obtain more information on your recourse rights, you may contact your financial institution or cdnpay.ca. We respect your privacy and do not rent or sell our mailing lists.

Donation Agreement

All donations will be used for Board-approved programs and projects. When any need or project goal has been met, extra funds will be used in areas of greatest need.
