Because we’re passionate about faith-inspired learning, we want to make an Ambrose education as affordable as possible for you. With the help of our community and partners, we offer a number of scholarships to both new and continuing students-it’s our way of investing in your education.

  • Available to students applying to Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts in Music

Entrance: Athletics

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements and making the team
  • Athletic Scholarships are based on athletic performance and making the varsity team, as determined by the coach. Reach out to a basketball, volleyball, soccer, futsal coach at Get Rectruited. We’ll arrange for you to either come join the team for a practice, demonstrate your ability at an ID Camp, or send us some video footage.

Continuing Student Scholarships

  • Scholarship recipients will be announced in early April
  • Any current student, including Internship and onSite students*, who will be continuing studies at Ambrose in the upcoming fall full time (9 credits) or 6 credits for students with disability
  • Minimum 2.0 CGPA as of last semester
  • Students must be currently enroled full time (9 credits) in a program**
  • Applications accepted from January 25 to February 28, 2019

*Internship, thesis program, and onSite students leaving for the fall are considered full time students

**Students who have been approved to study at a 40%-course load as a full-time equivalent based on a disability will be considered for full-time awards. (See schedule 4: Federal/Provincial Grant for Post-secondary student with Disabilities)

Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Historian Award

A $1,500 award to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program who has completed or is currently taking courses in Canada’s and/or Alberta’s history and who has demonstrated good character, active community service and potential for leadership. The recipient must be in satisfactory academic standing and prepare a maximum 500-word essay.

Camp Chamisall Matching Grant Application

Undergraduate students attending Ambrose University who receive financial support from Camp Chamisall can have that support matched by Ambrose up to $1,000/academic year. This grant is only available for the fall and winter semesters.

Undergraduate students attending Ambrose University who receive financial support from SABC can have that support matched by Ambrose up to $1,000/academic year. This grant is only available for the fall and winter semesters.

Church Partner Program

The Church Partner Program is a partnering church donation program for Ambrose students. Ambrose will match a church donation up to a maximum of $100 per course for a student’s education. Ambrose will match up to $600/academic year of church support. Ambrose’s partnering donation will be credited to the student’s account each semester.

Ambrose’s partnering donation will be applied to the current and future semesters of the academic year from September to August. No backdating to the previous semesters.

Church cheques are to be submitted with the name of the recipient and sent to:
