Because we’re passionate about faith-inspired learning, we want to make an Ambrose education as affordable as possible for you. With the help of our community and partners, we offer a number of scholarships to both new and continuing students-it’s our way of investing in your education.

Undergraduate Scholarship & Criteria



Automatic Academic Scholarship Criteria - Undergraduate Students

  • Minimum 75% (3.0 CGPA) on Ambrose admission requirements
  • Available to transfer and high school students
  • Automatic with admission (no application required)
  • 75%-79% - $500
  • 80%-84% - $750
  • 85%-89% - $1,000
  • 90%-94% - $1,500
  • 95%-100% - $2,000

August 1 - Fall Start

December 1 - Winter Start

$500 - $2,000

Automatic Scholarship Criteria - Transfer Students

Average on 15 credits or more from another institution
  • 3.0 - 3.2 CGPA - $500
  • 3.3 - 3.5 CGPA - $1,000
  • 3.6 - 3.7 CGPA - $1,500
  • 3.8 - 4.0 CGPA - $2,000



Entrance: Music

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements
  • Based on faculty selection and audition
  • Available to students applying to Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts in Music



Various amounts

Entrance: Athletics

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements and making the team
  • Athletic Scholarships are based on athletic performance and making the varsity team, as determined by the coach. Reach out to a basketball, volleyball, soccer, futsal coach at Get Rectruited. We’ll arrange for you to either come join the team for a practice, demonstrate your ability at an ID Camp, or send us some video footage.



Entrance: Acting

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements
  • Based on faculty selection and audition
  • Available to students applying to Diploma in Acting



Entrance: International Student Scholarship

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements
  • Available to new students entering their first year that are enroled in a program
  • Any student who requires a student visa / permit to study



Bachelor of Education (After Degree)

  • Students entering Bachelor of Education After Degree program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • No application required - automatically considered based on admission
  • Scholarships only available for early admission

$500 - $2,000

Continuing Student Scholarships

  • Scholarship recipients will be announced in early April
  • Any current student, including Internship and onSite students*, who will be continuing studies at Ambrose in the upcoming fall full time (9 credits) or 6 credits for students with disability
  • Minimum 2.0 CGPA as of last semester
  • Students must be currently enroled full time (9 credits) in a program**
  • Applications accepted from January 23 to February 26, 2019

**Students who have been approved to study at a 40%-course load as a full-time equivalent based on a disability will be considered for full-time awards. (See schedule 4: Federal/Provincial Grant for Post-secondary student with Disabilities)

  • Schools that are members of ACSI or CSI

Church Servant Leadership Scholarship

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements
  • Ambrose will match up to $2,000/academic year of church support

Up to $40,000 (full tuition) over 8 consecutive semesters

International Worker Children

  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements
  • Parents must be active International/Cross Cultural Workers working in the field with a designated organization
  • 21 and under
  • International Worker Children (21 and under) who are currently attending a Christian High School overseas, may apply for the Christian Scholarship (see above)




  • Meet Ambrose admissions requirements
  • Current Grade 12 participants in district and international quizzing competitions
  • No application required
