Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Historian AwardA $1,500 award to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program who has completed or is currently taking courses in Canada’s and/or Alberta’s history and who has demonstrated good values of character and leadership roles in academic or community involvement. The recipient must be in satisfactory academic standing and prepare a maximum 500-word essay. How to Apply: Complete an application form and submit it along with all supporting documentation to financialaid@ambrose.edu . |

Alberta-NWT Command, The Royal Canadian Legion - BursaryThe award of bursaries is based on financial need and includes any person who is serving or has honourably served in the Canadian armed Forces, the Commonwealth or its wartime allies or as a regular member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or as a Peace Officer in a special duty area or on a special duty operation, or who has served in the Merchant Navy or Ferry Command during wartime, and their dependents. This also includes children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who are in need of financial assistance. Must show proof of connection to the veteran using document such as discharge papers, record of service, birth certificates and marriage certificates, or proof of connection to a AB-NWT Command Legion member.
