Ambrose University Awarded Prestigious Tri-Council Research Support Fund
Earlier this year, Ambrose University was awarded, The Government of Canada's Tri-Council Research Support Fund (RSF). Each year the RSF assists Canadian postsecondary institutions of higher education and their affiliated institutes with the indirect expenses associated with managing their research. The RSF program is funded by three federal research-granting agencies.
The purpose of the RSF is to make Canada one of the world’s leading countries in research and development.
School of Business Launch Ceremony

Women’s Volleyball Ranks Nationally
Our Ambrose Lions’ Women’s Volleyball team has been crushing the season so far. The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) released their cross-Canada rankings placing the team 7th nationally. Undefeated until their most recent game, the women’s team has seen incredible results from their hard work and excellent team dynamic. The Ambrose Lions and The King's University Eagles matched up on Saturday, Nov. 12, ranked 6th and 7th nationally in the CCAA rankings as each team sported undefeated records.
Ambrose Arts performing Gilgamesh
From December 1-3, Ambrose Arts will be performing Gilgamesh at the Big Secret Theatre – Arts Commons.
We are pleased to introduce our designer, Lindsey Zess. Lindsey is a Metis director, designer, maker and art educator living and working on Treaty 7 territory, primarily Mohkinstsis/Otoskwunee/Calgary. She creates work for both film and theatre, specializing in scenography, directing, devised performance, physical theatre practices and puppetry. Her devising/design methodology places a strong emphasis on the material, mythological and metaphysical.
Of Love and Generosity
Starting his role within Ambrose in 2019, Michalis Andronikou is one of Ambrose’s talented sessional faculty. Quickly integrating himself into the community, Andronikou found an incredible way to combine his passion for music composition and production into his role at Ambrose. Drawing inspiration from the popular 1 Corinthians passage, Andronikou composed ‘Of Love and Nothingness’ a melodic composition that was later performed by the Ambrose choir, led by Dr. Mark Bartel.
