Master Of Theological Studies

The Master of Theological Studies (MTS) program is an integrative theological degree designed to provide a foundation for researching and teaching bible and theology. This program is for those looking to pursue PhD studies with the intention of teaching in an academic institution. With a choice of specializing in Old Testament, New Testament or Theology this program culminates in careful production of a thesis that reflects your intensive studies and prepares you to continue your education at a doctorate level.

Master In Leadership And Ministry

Our Master in Leadership and Ministry (MLM) program prepares student for leadership in professional ministries in a range of specialized areas. Some of these areas include chaplaincy, leadership and non-profit work. The flexibility of the program allows students to focus their studies on appropriate classes for their interests and vocational goals.

This program is designed to enhance the ministries of experienced pastors and to prepare others for ministry roles such as education and discipleship, counselling or leadership, chaplaincy or community development.

Master In Intercultural Ministries

As the need for greater cultural fluency grows, there is a call upon today’s ministry leaders to adapt to the increasingly multicultural and diverse world. Our Masters in Intercultural Ministries (MIM) program provides preparation for those looking to enter professional ministry. Gain real-world experience with an integrated 3-month (minimum) internship and learn skills to effectively minister across Canada and around the world.

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) program prepares students for professional pastoral ministry in Canada and around the world. Presidential Transition

At the recent Ambrose Board of Governors meeting, President Gordon T Smith advised the board of his intention to submit his resignation with effect from July, 2024. At that time, Dr. Smith will begin to transition into retirement.

In his announcement to the Ambrose community Dr. Smith noted that, “It has been an extraordinary privilege to serve in this capacity for the last 11 years – to be personally invested with you in the mission of this institution and our shared vision for Christian higher education.”
