Foundations for Ministry Certificate (FMC)

The Foundations for Ministry Certificate (FMC) is relevant and practical instruction for Church workers and lay individuals involved in ministry across Canada. Courses are aimed at adult learners and are assessed on a pass/fail basis. Participants who wish to continue their studies at Ambrose, and who are accepted into one of its seminary programs, are eligible for a maximum of 3 credits towards a pastoral elective IF they successfully complete the FMC Certificate prior to starting their degree. See Foundations for Ministry Certificate for further information.

Nazarene Modular Course of Study (MCoS)

Ambrose University is the designated field school of the Church of the Nazarene Canada. The non-degree Modular Course of Study (MCoS) is an educational pathway to ordination for those preparing for ministry in the Church of the Nazarene. Educators, pastors, district leaders, and laypersons from across the USA/Canada region have developed a new Modular Course of Study Program. The new MCoS is approved by the International Board of Education for the Church of the Nazarene.
